C.r.e.w. 56?

Crew 56 is a ministry for 5th & 6th grade students at Eudora Baptist church, which meets each Wednesday nights during the school year from 6-7 PM. They typically do a fun activity or game and have a Bible lesson. They also enjoy having snacks as part of their time together.  Occasionally, the group will do special events beyond a regular meeting. This ministry also has its own group within our regular VBS each summer.

C.R.E.W. 56 is led by Kenan & Autumn Staples and various others. This age group can often feel a little out of place as they age out of the AWANA ministry, but might feel overwhelmed with the older high schoolers. We hope this ministry helps our 5th & 6th graders feel like they belong and have a place among our church body!

What does "crew 56" stand for?

The letters, C R E & W, stand for Christians Ready Equipped & Willing. And 56 stands for the fact that they are all 5th or 6th graders.
