Josh Monhollon

Lead Pastor

Josh grew up in Topeka and graduated from the University of Kansas in 2006. He received his Master's of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and spent 10 years at First Southern Baptist Church of Pratt, KS as the Family Life Pastor. He came to EBC in January of 2020 with a heart for ministering to families. He and his wife, Bethany have five children. He loves being a husband, father, home renovator, and sports enthusiast.

Ty Burgoon

Family Life Pastor

Ty joined the staff of EBC in the spring of 2022. He is originally from Paola, KS. He graduated from Pitt State University in 2012 and the Kanakuk Institute in Branson in 2013. He then spent the next 9 years pastoring in Sedalia, MO. He desires to see disciples grow through the church and the home together. Ty has been married to Emily since 2013. They have six children. When free, Ty enjoys outside activities, remodeling, gardening, hunting, and competing in whatever will challenge him!

Sheryl Shankles

Ministry Assistant

Sheryl has served in many church offices in various states, from the North Carolina coast to Washington State, in the last 20 years. She loves serving other believers and is blessed to know that everything she does in her daily life can have a spiritual impact. She and her husband, Gary, whose focus is Christian schooling, spent most of their married life in North Carolina and have two grown sons and five grandchildren.
