Jeff Ingle has been serving on staff at EBC since 2004 and has been leading as the Senior Pastor since March of 2014. He graduated from Southwest Baptist University and received his Masters in Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has over 15 years of experience in church ministry, leading in many areas including: children, youth, small groups, missions, and worship.
Jeff Ingle is a sports enthusiast and is an “Illinois Boy” at heart (Go Bears!). One of Jeff’s favorite things (other than sweet tea) is spending time with his wife, Bethany and their two boys, Elias and Erickson. Together, they are passionate about serving God and loving His people and enjoy calling EBC their home.
Associate Pastor of Discipleship
Doug Ebert joined the EBC staff in October of 2015. He has a wide array of professional experience including: teaching math and science for 5 years; serving in the US Air Force for over 20 years; and 12 years at the executive level in healthcare and financial planning industries. (In his spare time he was also a leader in the Boy Scouts of America for 14 years).
Doug Ebert holds a Masters in Computer Science (which may have helped feed his addiction to Star Trek), as well as a Master’s in Theology from Liberty University. He and his late wife, Pam, enjoyed working together on their Ford Model A cars and he continues to enjoy using that same creative energy in his wood shop at home.
Curtis Hickman has served the EBC Youth since April 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Sterling College where he almost graduated with honors (so close!). He has 7 children, all of whom are his favorite. Curtis can juggle two balls quite well, three poorly. Do not ask him to juggle four. Curtis has been known to be easily distracted. When not working at EBC, Curtis is a financial advisor, helping families properly handle and eliminate their debt and prepare for their future.
Director of Children’s Ministry
Jessica Vogt grew up not far from us in Olathe and graduated from Kansas University with a Fine arts degree. Professionally she has been teaching for twenty-five years and also danced professionally for three, but she holds that her greatest accomplishment is her family.
Her love for our Lord Jesus and servant’s heart is ably demonstrated in every part of her work with the children of EBC. Jessica and her husband Matt have two children, Joellen and Josephina.
